With Wesley's surgery coming up next Friday, Nathan and I decided to do a "fun day" out with Wesley. Wesley LOVED the Zoo the last time we went. He has always loved animals, and knows so many animals by their names. The other day, my Mom pointed out a bird to Wesley as we were walking by a pet store, Wesley corrected her and said "No, its a Parrot, not a bird."
So...with Wesley's love of the Zoo, we decided to go ahead and invest in annual passes. The bummer thing is, its in Atlanta, which is an hour away, but we can go unlimited for the next year. Wesley especially loves the reptiles, and amphibians. Which can make my skin crawl, just talking about it. His favorite things to see were the "Komodo Dragon" and the "yellow snake." He also got to brush a goat, and he was pretty excited about that too! It was a beautiful day, with gorgeous weather (it rained at night, so we had a rain free day!).
