This weekend was our "big" night out with Wesley. We've had this planned for months, thinking Wes would need a "break" from sharing his Mommy and Daddy...but he actually was sad that Baby Allie couldn't go to the show!! Saturday night we saw the theatre version of "Thomas goes to the Circus." Wesley LOVES Thomas, and was so excited to see this show! It was so great to give him all my attention, and to have him snuggled on my lap through out the entire show. I loved clapping and singing along to all the songs, and seeing him so excited!! Though he is growing up so fast, and he is so independent....he is still my baby. We spoiled him ROTTEN that night....anything he wanted....he got. Popcorn, light up toy, Ice Cream....candy...whatever....it was so much fun to indulge him like that!! And the Fox Theatre in downtown Atlanta....JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Afterwards we had dinner at the world famous "The Varsity" in downtown Atlanta. It's the world largest drive in. Wesley got a kick out of the ladies standing at the counter yelling "Whattta ya have?" (It's their trademark to yell that at customers) We had a very "healthy" dinner of french fries, Onions rings, and hamburgers....and Mayfield Ice Cream for Dessert!! (I even went off my diet!!)
Besides that....Wes has been enjoying a gift from his Abi and Poppy (Nathan's parents)....a JEEP!!
